This app is designed to aid children in learning the sounds of the letters of the alphabet, which are essential for reading proficiency. In this latest version, four phonetic photo images are included to correspond with each letter, facilitating the process of learning individual letter sounds. It is worth noting that lowercase letters comprise a significant majority of printed text, with approximately 95% of words found in books and periodicals utilizing this form. As such, focusing educational efforts on teaching lowercase letters from the outset provides a smart foundation for learning.

Similar to how counting skills lay the groundwork for addition, understanding letter sounds contributes to successful reading acquisition.
